With much joy (and many happy tears) we said goodbye to our King’s Daughters ‘Graduates’! We wish the 23 wonderful rising Kindergartners and their families so much success in the coming year as they begin school – and beyond.
All of the students received backpacks stuffed with all the school supplies needed to begin school along with a uniform shirt, socks and gift card for shoes. We’re so grateful to Dollar General and the Dan and Margaret Maddox Charitable Trust for providing these backpacks and supplies. We were delighted to also give each child a set of classic books, a gift from an individual donor and wonderful supporter of our community.
Before leaving the school our rising Kindergartners each signed our “Graduate Desk” with their name and the year.
