This holiday season, please help us make necessary upgrades to ensure the learning environment we provide our children is safe and welcoming.
I can’t tell you what joy watching our children learn and discover brings to me and all of our staff every day. I know that you also recognize and value the important work we do at King’s Daughters for the children and families in our community who need it most: we provide a safe, nurturing environment for very young children regardless of their household income. Our program, modeled after the Italian Reggio Emilia early childhood philosophy, centers around our belief that children are capable, independent, inquisitive and innately driven to learn.
Year after year, our program demonstrates great success as we prepare each child and their family for Kindergarten and beyond. Our staff are loving, lifelong learners who eagerly take on training and educating themselves on the best practices for early childhood development.
But as beautiful as our curriculum is and as wonderful as our staff is that implements it, the building that houses our preschool needs some extra love this year. Our facility was constructed in 1965 and its walls have seen thousands of children learn and grow over the past five decades. We have a maintenance line item in our budget, but to be honest, as our building ages, more and more tasks are becoming urgent to complete. As this season of giving approaches, please consider a gift for us. Your money will be used to upgrade our building and make sure that our children and staff are kept healthy and safe while they learn and build relationships that will positively impact them throughout their lives. I’ve outlined our top three needs and a gift of any amount will be so helpful for us as we can combine your gift with that of your neighbor.
Thank you always for your support!
