Board Member, Amy Campbell
King’s Daughters is blessed by many people in our community and we’re delighted to shine the spotlight on the work of our volunteers in this series of posts. We are inspired and incredibly honored to have such a compassionate and enthusiastic team of people who support our efforts and the children we serve!
We’re so grateful for the partnership we have with Pinnacle Bank. Their employees have served on our Board of Directors for several years, and we’re particularly grateful to Amy Campbell, who is a client service advisor at Pinnacle’s Goodlettesville office. Amy became a board member in 2012 and has served as the Treasurer, as a member on the annual Fashion Show fundraiser committee, and is currently serving as board Secretary.
What are some of the ways you’ve used your unique knowledge and skills to serve King’s Daughters? I’ve helped set budgets, work on fundraising events, and hopefully provided sound financial advice to the center.
My favorite memories are fundraising events with so many of us working together for a common goal. The first Jingle Bell Marketplace was a fun day. It was great to see so much excitement for our very first event of this kind. I always enjoy the fashion shows and especially the shopping!
What is your day job? I am currently a client service advisor at Pinnacle Bank in Goodlettsville. I’ve been here for 5 ½ years.
What do you like to do outside of your job and volunteer work? My favorite activity is just spending time with family and close friends. I love trying new restaurants in Nashville. There’s always a new place to try! I also love traveling to the 30A with my closest friends for long weekend excursions. During the summer a nice day by the pool is where you may find me. In the Fall, I’ll be at Vanderbilt Football games and Vanderbilt Basketball games. I am season ticket holder to both and love to tailgate with long time friends!
Why do you support King’s Daughters with your time and talents? I was born and raised in the Madison community so it’s important for me to support and encourage places like the KDCDC. They offer such wonderful services to the people in the community that might not otherwise be able to afford. I still live in the Madison area.
